FAQ's
Q: What is a webinar?
A webinar is a "web based seminar." Basically it is a cost effective method for offering interested parties educational seminars. When you log into the webinar, you will see whatever is on the presenter's screen. To hear the presenter speak, you will be able to listen over your computer or you can call into a telephone number. There is limited interactivity. The attendees can offer questions via a chat like function or submit before the program.
Q: How long is a webinar?
Webinars are 60 minutes.
Q: Who can attend a webinar?
Webinars are open to anyone.
Q: What is the cost for a webinar?
Webinars cost $39 per webinar and some volume discounts or offers may apply.
Q: How to pay for the webinar?
Payment for the webinars are made through PayPal. First, you must Reserve Your Space and then select the webinar(s) you wish to attend.
Generally, the deadline for payment is by noon Eastern Standard time the day before the webinar. At times this deadline may be earlier depending on the start time and other scheduling issues.
If you pay but do not register as described below, you will not get into the webinar and there are no refunds for missed webinars. There are also no "rollovers" to other webinars. Webinar payments cannot be transferred to another person either.
Q: What are my payment options?
A: With TypeLabs you purchase with confidence with PayPal.
- Pay directly using your PayPal account
- Pay with your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card
- Pay without revealing your credit card or bank information.

Q: I am interested in one of the webinars, but I have a time conflict. Can I order a recording of the webinar?
At this time, we do not offer the webinar(s) except as a live "performance". We are working to make them available for people who cannot attend the live performance, but we have a few issues that need to be resolved first. Webinars offered for free by TypeLabs or Qualifying.org are often made available as a recording. Please note that only those "attending" the live broadcast will qualify for CEUs.
The times for the webinar are not conducive to my work schedule. Will the webinar be repeated at another time?
Scheduling across 3 (plus) time zones is a challenge. TypeLabs and Qualifying.org will work together to make the webinars available at a variety of times. As for repeating the webinars, stay tuned for information through the TypeLabs website or the Qualifying.org website.
Q.What happens if I pay and cannot attend?
There are no refunds for the webinars and payment cannot be transferred to another webinar unless Qualifying.org and TypeLabs cancels the webinar.
Q.How do I register for the webinar?
After you reserve your space you will be sent an invoice. Once the invoice is paid you are considered a registered attendee. If you submit the reservation form and do not submit payment you will not receive log-in instructions for the webinars.
Once you have registered and paid, the organizer of the webinar will approve you to join the webinar. You will be sent instructions via email for joining the webinar (and a couple of reminders) that include the URL and the teleconference phone number to call. You may not receive this email until the day before the webinar.
It is critical that you complete both steps before noon Eastern standard time on the day before the webinar.
Registration for the free webinars is very simple. All you need to do is click the appropriate checkbox next to the title of the webinar, complete the registration form, and reserve your space.
I paid for the webinar but did not receive an email with the log-in instructions. What do I do? Please contact us through the Typexchange Support System
Q: I did not receive an email with instructions for logging onto the webinar.
Please check your SPAM filter as the email may end up there.
Q: Do I earn CEUs for attending these webinars?
EEU credit letters will be issued upon request.
Registration and attendance is required to earn EEU credit.
Q: I need help, who do I contact?
A: In order to streamline support requests and better serve you, we utilize a support ticket system. Every support request is assigned a unique ticket number which you can use to track the progress and responses online. Visit the Typexchange Support Center now.
Q: Webinar Troubleshooting
All approved participants receive information on logging into the webinar before the webinar; in fact, you will probably receive a couple of reminders.
Please be sure to input your email address properly when registering. Several times people have not gotten information because they make an error inputing their email addresses.
There seems to be a lot of confusion over the registration and payment processes for webinars. It is a two step process described in detail below that requires REGISTERING for the webinar, but also PAYING for the webinar through a PayPal invoice sent directly to your email from TypeLabs. If BOTH parts are not completed by noon Eastern Standard time on the day before the webinar, you will be denied access to the webinar. This is a hard time line.
